Ven Bhante

Bhante is well known for his unique way of transmitting the knowledge of the Buddha as a philosophy, to provide the right view and perception of the world, and also as practical means to live a happy and fulfilling life. He became a monk at age 9 and completed his Bachelor's and Masters in Buddhist Philosophy before gaining popularity for his insightful and inspiring talks on a variety of subjects on life and how to find happiness. As a senior monk for over 40 years and a strong meditation master, he has traveled around the world representing Sri Lanka in various international Buddhist conferences. He is known for his wisdom and his expression of love and compassion which has an incredible healing effect. His teachings are portrayed in a way that are attainable and useful for all, be them Buddhists or not.
