Sunil Kumar

He graduated from D.B. College Sasthamcotta and, in 1985, joined the Brahmavidya Acharya course, a seven-year program at the Sivagiri Mutt, Varkala. His first yoga lesson was from Swami Samprasadanda, a monk from the Sree Ramakrishna Mission. Inspired by his mentor, Sunil completed the Sivananda Teacher Training Course at Neyyar Dam in 1995. During the same year, he also completed the Sadhana Intensive Course at the same ashram. In 1996, he went on to complete the Advanced Teacher Training Course (A.T.T.C.) from Sivananda Ashram. After his A.T.T.C., he joined the Bangalore Vivekananda Kendra for further study of yoga and yoga therapy for a period of one year. Soon after completing his yoga studies, Sunil began teaching yoga at Sree Narayana Guru Viswa Samskara Bhavan in Trivandrum.
