Sophie

Sophie is the 3rd Co founder of Shine Retreats along with Carla and Natalie.On this retreat she will be your Massage Practitioner. Sophie trained as a massage practitioner in 2010 and went from our reception team at Shine to our practitioner team, but we snaffled her back into management, and she has been running our clinic in London since 2015.In 2012, she received a Distinction in her Practical for her level 4 Sports Massage Diploma. More recently, Sophie qualified in Hydrotherm Massage, Reiki Level 2 and Myofascial Release.Her energy and warmth are contagious, and she has the ability to hold the bigger picture while also managing the detail. Her love of a ‘To Do List’ helps her to keep Carla on track, keeping the team grounded and moving gently in the right direction.With a creative background in music, singing and acting, she is passionate about the way in which a creative process can be nurturing and healing. Sophie’s role on retreat, may be organisational, creative or nurturing but whichever hat she will be wearing, it is done with JOY.
