Sandra Laserna Cowal is the Program Director and Communications Manager at Ascension Costa Rica, where she oversees retreat programming, marketing, and guest experience.Since the center’s founding in 2026, she has worked closely with practitioners and guests to create thoughtfully curated retreat experiences that support personal transformation and meaningful connection.Sandra’s background blends communications, community building, and creative leadership.She previously served as Director and Curator of Galeria Pura Vida, where she organized art programming, taught classes, and connected collectors with local artists.She is also a trained birth doula, supporting individuals and families through transformative life transitions.Her personal practices include yoga, breathwork, somatic exploration, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu—disciplines that have deeply informed her understanding of presence, resilience, and personal growth.Sandra is passionate about supporting visionaries, entrepreneurs, and seekers in bringing their purpose to life and stepping into their highest potential.
