Rui Lopes

Rui was an investment banker for over 20 years, 10 of which were in the City of London. He started yoga and meditation in 2011 and has since developed a mixed practice of yoga, crosstraining, trail running, and kitesurfing.He participated in several yoga and mindfulness retreats. Rui is the founder and manager of OM Academy & Mind Spa.OM Academy & Mind Spa is a wellness center for body and mind, bringing together the benefits of different practices: yoga, pilates, fitness, meditation, and sound therapy. Based in Porto, in a tranquil secluded residential area next to the Botanical Garden.Besides our regular members, we have been running yoga, pilates, fitness, and wellness retreats since 2022.
