Renée is a vibrant artist, published author, and guide for healing through creativity.After surviving a prolonged withdrawal from psychiatric medication, she rediscovered herself through art using painting and mixed media to give voice to emotional and inner landscapes.Since 2017, Renée has facilitated both in-person and online art classes, exploring watercolor, acrylics, collage, character painting, and intuitive mixed-media work.She is the author of PSYCHIATRIZED: Waking Up After a Decade of Bad Medicine and also teaches memoir writing.A Certified Peer Recovery Advocate (CRPA) and Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), Renée brings decades of teaching experience and a deeply compassionate, lived understanding of healing inviting others into honest expression, creativity, and reconnection through art.
