Patricia Cruz

Pat Cruz is the founder of the Transcontinental Educator Artist Collective for Humanity (TEACH).She taught art in the U.S. for 10 years and was recognized as Elementary Art Teacher of the Year by the Maryland Arts Educators Association.Pat also served as an atelierista for four years at the International School of Panama.Pat has been honored as an “Outstanding Arts Educator” and “Visionary Leader” by the Maryland Association of Art Educators, and she recently received the “Distinguished Service to the Field” award from the Teaching Artist Guild (TAG).As director of TEACH, her goal is to connect educators and teaching artists to foster grassroots climate action.
