Nicola Spendlove

Nicola Spendlove is a Creative Writing graduate and a multi award-winning playwright and stage actress.She is co-founder of Theatre Vamps, an Irish-based theatre production company specialising in bringing theatre to unlikely places. In 2023 alone, Theatre Vamps produced and toured a total of seven productions.In addition to Nicola’s background and passion for the arts, she is a qualified Occupational Therapist with an interest in using writing and performance to maximise our personal wellbeing.Nicola is currently employed by Creative Ireland as the Creative Communities Engagement Officer for Waterford - empowering communities to use creativity for their collective betterment.
