Mariposa Alcalde

Mariposa (Cristina Alcalde) was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was born into a family of vegetarian yogis, where her spiritual growth was and is considered her most important personal achievement. She had an inner calling for adventure to remember who she is and why she is here. At the tender age of 18 years old, she moved to New York City to learn English and became a fashion designer. Realizing that she could make her dreams come true anywhere, she left the city to explore the world. She spent 10 years exploring 14 countries, living in many for extended stays while absorbing new cultures. It was during her time in South America that Ancestral plants came into her life, confirming that she is a spiritual being living a human experience. In 2017, she received a 200-hour Yoga certification and became a teacher. This led her to discover Tantra and Breathwork studies and become certified in both modalities in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Mariposa Alcalde is a divine channel from Mexico. She reminds us that we all carry an inner medicine. We are empowered to spread our wings, soar, and be free! She sparks the remembrance that you are your own greatest teacher, shaman, and the Perfect marriage between your inner feminine and masculine energies. It was through Breathwork and Tantra that she realized that she could access DMT, "the spirit molecule", without ancestral plants. At that moment, she opened her wings and became free as a butterfly, receiving her spiritual name: Mariposa, Butterfly. She realized all the answers she sought were within. Mariposa is the founder of Breathe Love Academy. She developed this breathing method that activates spiritual awakening, releases past trauma, and induces blissful euphoria.
