JANA BRAUER

Jana originally from Berlin Germany got first introduced to Yoga when traveling Thailand in 2005. Her journey of teaching began, after moving to Koh Samui in 2007 were she completed her Hot Yoga teacher training. Since joining Absolute Sanctuary’s teaching team in 2010, Jana has grown to become the resort’s lead yoga instructor sharing her love and passion for yoga with people from around the globe, all walks of life and backgrounds, while on their holiday to the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Jana teaches a variety of classes from Hot to Restorative Yoga. With her caring personality, she always looks after her student’s needs. Coming from a back injury herself, she knows the importance of offering a space of trust and safety where every student is given room to honor and nurture their body and minds. Jana has undergone 500 + hours of yoga teacher training /workshops recognized and certified by Yoga Alliance and further expanded her teaching skills by becoming a Stott Pilates Trained Mat and Reformer instructor in 2018/19.
