Ioanna Florou

A Greek visual artist based in Thessaloniki, she specializes in contemporary drawing and experimental visual research.Trained at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, her work is conceptual and intuitive.Her favorite material is charcoal, and her pieces are mysterious, dreamlike, and full of emotion.Her work has been shown at the MOMus Experimental Center for the Arts as well as in solo and group exhibitions.She transformed her personal studio into a shared space for drawing sessions and events.Through The Esque Studio, she created a creative community where people can practice and express themselves freely, regardless of drawing level or technical skill.With the Summer Drawing Lab, she brings that same spirit to Evia.
