Ian Wen, MFA, is a dynamic movement and somatic teacher, as well as a performance artist, based in New York City.With a passion for creativity and connection, Ian has shared his expertise in performance and movement around the world, including in Greece, the Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina, and Ukraine.For over 20 years, Ian was a beloved faculty member at Brooklyn College, where he taught and inspired both MFA and BFA students through his innovative approach to performance and movement.As the co-founder and artistic director of De Novo Dance, Ian has received multiple state and city grants for creating groundbreaking new works and fostering meaningful collaborations with senior communities.Ian’s work reflects his deep commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and the power of movement to connect and transform.
