Horace Usry

Horace Usry (M.B.A., E-RYT 500) is co-founder and co-diretor of the Nexus Institute for Yoga & Wellness. Horace had a previous career in Investment Banking for twenty-five years. However, his love for yoga and personal development trumped his desire to finance and operate additional businesses. He cherishes the years spent in banking, but has never looked back. His life purpose is to make yoga, optimal wellbeing, and inner clarity possible for anybody especially those who have felt that yoga was either too physically challenging or opposed to their core beliefs. He is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, Nosara Yoga Educator, and Yoga Guide. Horace's teaching is deeply influenced by his Shamanic studies both in the U.S. and in the mountains of Peru. With gentle humor and a deep understanding of humanity, Horace has assited hundreds of yoga practitioners in achieving yoga teacher certification at both the 200- and 500-Hour levels.
