Hicham Essadki

Hicham Essadki is the founder of Koom Retreat. His interest in Martial Arts started in 1985. After a successful career as a business leader in the Silicon Valley, Hicham returned to his roots and made the pilgrimage to meet his Sufi Master in Morocco.He was then trusted to go to China to study Martial Arts with Shaolin Buddhist & Taoist monks for 1 year.In 2018, Hicham was permitted by his Sufi Master Sidi Jamal & his Shaolin Shifu Master Qu to share this knowledge with the world.At Koom Retreat, he combines intensive martial arts training with the immersive spiritual journey of the Sufi tradition to create an authentic, holistic experience where people heal, learn and grow.
