Yoga Teacher they/themFlora Nwakobi is an audacious multi-hyphenate who shapeshifts between being a filmmaker, yoga teacher, death doula, painter, & abolitionist.Experiencing the absurd reality of existence through a Queer Nigerian-Indian lens, they seek to subvert the dominant gaze and prioritize Queer/Ancestral pathways towards personal and collective liberation.Grounded in Indigenous knowledge, Flora views yoga and creation as tools for connection, consciousness-shifting, and action, and is committed to continuous learning about how to put more of the world into their work.
