Fiona Kirwan

Sowa Soma was founded by Fiona and Neil, a husband and wife team who have been working with medicinal plants for nearly 15 years, holding retreats in Europe and Costa Rica. In 2021, they decided to take their family and work and relocate to Costa Rica's Caribbean coast, to further deepen their connection to Ayahuasca and the jungle.During Fiona's time in the medical world, she has sat in many circles, both indigenous and non-indigenous, in the Amazon. She has come to know and learn from the Shipibo-Konibo lineage and continues to learn with plants through master plant dietas, these include White Sage, Rose, Cacao, Passionflower, Dandelion, and Mugwort.Fiona is particularly passionate about supporting women in ceremony, helping create the safest environment possible. This work extends to helping women integrate plants into their daily lives to tune in to and fully embrace their menstrual cycles.In addition to plant medicine facilitation, Fiona offers preparation and integration coaching, menstruation mentoring, and supports couples and individuals with conscious conception, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
