Electra Kouloumpi is a senior expert in post-growth economics, with over 15 years of hands-on experience in driving systems change and advancing regenerative transitions. Her adventures have taken her across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia, where she has teamed up with influential organizations like the European Commission, the United Nations, KR Foundation, and over 100 cities. Ilektra has a special talent for creating spaces where people from different backgrounds can come together, share ideas, and collaborate on transformative projects. One of her proudest achievements has been the Amsterdam City Doughnut project, where she guided the local government to bring the idea of Doughnut Economics to life. This project didn’t just change the way the city approached sustainability; it also captured the imaginations of people far and wide, earning praise from major media outlets like the BBC, Time Magazine, The Guardian, and Fast Company.Now, from her home in Greece, Ilektra leads her own consultancy, working alongside the Doughnut Economics Action Lab, Schumacher College and other like minded organizations.
