Dynamis Integrative Retreat is a professional transpersonal psychology sanctuary located on 7 acres of dry tropical forest in El Mojal, Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.Founded and directed by licensed psychologist and certified psychedelic-assisted therapist Patricio Espinoza, Dynamis bridges clinical psychology with ancestral wisdom, offering a rigorous yet deeply human approach to healing and transformation.Every program at Dynamis is built around three principles:Maximum of 4 guests per retreatContinuous presence of a licensed psychologist throughout the processDeep integration as the core of the work, not an afterthought The Enneagram serves as the primary self-knowledge map, complemented by logotherapy, Jungian depth psychology, Gestalt, breathwork, and somatic practices.At the center of the property stands La Maloca, a 9-pillared ceremonial space built according to sacred geometry, each pillar representing one Enneagram type.Surrounded by sacred trees, meditation paths, and the energy of the Guanacaste dry tropical forest, Dynamis offers a container where science and ancestral wisdom meet with equal respect.Facilitator experience and lineage:The ceremony facilitator is an experienced practitioner with extensive personal and professional experience in plant medicine facilitation.I (Patricio Espinoza, Lic. Psic., certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist through the Vital Program, USA) am present as the integrating psychologist throughout the entire retreat.The facilitator and I work in close collaboration, and I maintain direct psychological oversight of each participant's process before, during, and after the ceremony.Medicine sourcing:The plant medicine is sourced responsibly through the facilitator's established relationships with trusted, experienced suppliers who operate with ethical and traditional standards.Sourcing details are shared directly with participants upon request.Emergency plan:We have a clear emergency protocol in place.The property has direct access to emergency services in Tamarindo and Liberia.A medical emergency contact is on call throughout every ceremony night.The facilitator and I are both trained in harm reduction and psychological crisis support.Liberia's Hospital Enrique Baltodano is approximately 1 hour away. Post-ceremony integration support:Integration is the core of the Dynamis process, not an afterthought.Each retreat includes two individual post-ceremony Healing Studio sessions.A group integration session is included.A written post-retreat integration plan is provided.Two virtual follow-up sessions are included after departure.Ongoing support is available as needed.
