Casa Colectiva is a creative residency company based in Morocco. We run intimate, multi-disciplinary residencies for small groups of makers, designers, writers, and culturally curious people — built around hands-on craft, movement, and human connection. Each residency is a private riad takeover in Essaouira, a coastal city on Morocco's Atlantic coast known for its light, its artisan culture, and its unhurried pace. The programme is shaped in direct collaboration with local Moroccan artists, craftspeople, cooks, and musicians — not imported facilitators. We launched in January 2026 and run a small number of editions each year. Everyone is deliberately kept to 9-12 guests — intimate enough that everyone is seen, spacious enough that no one feels crowded.
