Casa Prema

Casa Prema is a boutique retreat sanctuary located deep in the wilderness of Alentejo, Portugal. Born from a labor of love, the property was carefully restored over nearly a year after being acquired in June 2021. What was once an old house has been transformed into a modern, naturally built home, designed to hold space for healing, simplicity, and connection to nature.Set across five private acres, Casa Prema is surrounded by hundreds of trees from which 430 trees were planted in the last 4 years, including 155 olive trees rescued and replanted from nearby land. These trees now produce Casa Prema’s own small-batch olive oil, alongside fruit and nut trees that support the land’s natural abundance. The property remains a quiet sanctuary for wildlife, including birds, cows, sheep, and other native species.At the heart of the land sits a natural spring pool and small waterfall, fully swimmable and untouched. It offers a place for rest, reflection, and quiet immersion in nature.
