WELCOME TO ARGO HOTEL The story of Argo begins all the way back to 1977, when Thodoris Kousathanas created one of the first hotels in Platis Gialos. Thanasis Kousathanas, his son and current owner - as well as manager - of the hotel actually grew up inside the hotel, giving a new sense to the phrase “hospitality runs in his veins”. The hotel has gone through major renovations in order to provide maximum comfort and be up to date with travellers’ current needs, while preserving the traditional Cycladic features in its architecture. The long and sandy Platis Gialos Beach never fails to impress with the crystal clear water of the sea. It is one of the most popular beaches on the island since it is equipped with sun beds, it offers a variety of restaurants, there are water sports available and there is easy access by taxi boat to other famous beaches, such as Ornos, Psarrou, Paradise, Paranga, Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia.
