Antonio and Joanna Nobile

The retreat is hosted by Antonio, who is Italian, and Joanna, who is from Yorkshire in the UK. Both are well-travelled and interested in art, craft, writing, and history. Their home was an abandoned milking stable, which they lovingly restored themselves, and it was during this restoration that they also qualified as biodynamic farmers. Planting the land with olives, truffle groves, and saffron, as well as many fruits and vegetables to support their sustainable way of life. This, coupled with their extensive knowledge of local traditions, food, and all things Italian, means your retreat with them will be a real Tuscan cultural experience. Joanna is a keen cook and is often found preserving the fruits and vegetables growing in their garden. Antonio is often found tending his 200 olive and fruit trees, as well as the herbs, all there for you to enjoy too. They love animals and have a ragamuffin cat who is cuddly,cute, and always a hit with guests.
