Alicia Cheung

Alicia Cheung has been a movement teacher for 15 years. She taught her first yoga class when she was 21 and hasn't stopped since. After becoming a licensed acupuncturist and nutritional counselor in 2001, she went back into teaching. She eventually started YogaWorks' destination trainings 11 years ago, offering courses internationally at both the 200 and 300-hour levels. As a senior yoga teacher trainer, Alicia is a teacher's teacher and draws from all of her expertise as it relates to asana, mindfulness, meditation, craniosacral therapy, nutrition, fascia, neuroscience, and more. Her vivacious and charismatic nature is infectious which naturally led her to host mindful living retreats and wellness adventures on both land and sea in Bali, Thailand, Fiji, Morocco, and Europe. When not working, you will find Alicia either in the ocean or on land with family.
