This is our youngest and, at the same time, most dynamically developing mission, which began with the arrival of two Vedic monks in Hungary, following an order from their Master.Over time, more people gathered for their yoga, kirtan, and philosophy classes—initially only in Budapest, and later in other cities across the country.The general openness of the people to spirituality fostered valued relationships and paved the way for collaborative programs.The fruitful relationship with the Indian Embassy in Hungary has greatly facilitated the diffusion of Dharma and Yoga.The core of the mission, originally based in a small kutira (temple) in Budapest, has moved to a larger residence in the countryside.What makes it so special is that it is the favourite home and residence of our Venerable Master.The closeness and silence of the forest provide an ideal environment for retreats, cultivating calmness and health, and for study, meditation, and prayer.The main duties of the monks living here are to care for the Venerable Master and his home (Guru Yoga), support the sangha of monks and non-monks, expand the spiritual community, and thereby preserve and transmit the Vedic heritage that originates from the Master and is passed down to the disciple.
