Set on 860 acres in the beautiful Rockies, the Estes Park Center is the perfect place to de-stress and regroup from the complexities of the past couple of years. Wake up to breathtaking mountain views and the sound of songbirds. Watch the elk, squirrels and other wildlife right from the lodge balcony. Enjoy amazing sunsets to remember and incorporate through visualization upon your return into everyday life. The lodges we are staying in are within walking distance to the dining hall and program buildings, and many of our activities will take place outside to partake of the healing power of nature, including on-property hikes led by YMCA staff. During free time you can explore the campus. Take time to learn about its amazing history at the Lula Dorsey Museum. On our final day the group will venture over to the Mootz Family Craft and Design Center to choose a project you can take home as a reminder of the importance of mindfulness and relaxation. Many crafts are available, so no matter what your creative juices call for, chances are we’ll have something that fits. Enjoy wood and leather crafts, the jewelry area with thousands of beads, glazed and painted ceramics, mosaic and tie dye.
