The Wharf Hub is ideally situated for the training and marine enhancement work that is undertaken from here. In addition to access to the marine world, Opotiki has many unique bush walks with easy access distance.For many years the Wharf Hub has acted as host to overseas younger generation who came to Opotiki primarily to work in the nearby kiwifruit orchards.Now that safer Harbour access has been constructed the priamry vision of the Wharf Hub as a centre for enhancing marine life and human well being can be fullfilled.
