Nestled amongst 75 acres of woodlands, meadows and lakes is The Vedanta; a Grade II listed Elizabethan estate. The house has previously served as family home, hospital and hotel and now is ready to serve you. Whether your retreat be educational, recreational or perhaps a family celebration or corporate retreat, we offer a choice of 48 tastefully decorated bedrooms of various sizes; seminar spaces; event halls and dining rooms.Feel welcome and allow us to serve your needs.​An integral aspect of our ethos is living symbiotically with the natural world. Parcels of land around The Vedanta will be transformed into eco-patches for visitors to plant on in the winter and then to harvest in the summer!
