Taran Berthelsen

Taran is originally from Norway and has spent most winter months in Kenya for the past eight years.After experiencing burnout in a corporate leadership role, she felt a deep need to find greater purpose and meaning in her life.This led her to embark on a healing journey and to build Moyo Primary School in the remote bush of Amboseli.She remains closely involved with the school and is deeply committed to it, working side by side with the Maasai community.Building the school, living close to nature, and discovering breathwork and yoga became central parts of her healing path.Taran is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and a certified breathwork facilitator, and now supports others through breathwork, yoga, bush experiences, grounding, and healing in the African bush.
