Sunshine Sanctuary

We use the tranquil environment of the serene jungle that surrounds Sunshine Sanctuary as well as the vibrancy of Pura Vida that exists at the end of the Nicoya Peninsula, often referred to by locals as the end of the world. Ascensión is the process of transformation held by Sunshine Sanctuary as the container. We have chosen Sunshine Sanctuary as the location for the Ascención process because of the confluence of the world-class 3 tier waterfall that cascades into the ocean. We are located between the waterfall and the ocean, so the sounds of the falls and the ocean waves are ever-present throughout the sanctuary. The essence of the space has been diligently cultivated over the last four and half years by owner Anastacia Dadashpour, with the intention of creating a physical space to incorporate the work in her book Love, A Manual for Humanity. I have often had guests overcome with emotion, report feeling a divine essence or presence in the space. The tearful stories of ecstasy reported range from seeing the shape of a heart emerging from the mist in the jungle on the bridge, to the emergence of the sunlight rising from the ocean offering a personal message of redemption from the pool terrace, to a mother telling me that the experience of being in the space with her son offered the deepest connection she had with him in years.
