I'm Sophie.Owner of both Pilatestar (was known as Sophie's Pilates).I'm a Body Control Pilates Teacher, Back4Good® Practitioner & Bone Health Specialist.I originally set up my business in Dulwich, South East London, but I've now moved to Spain (between Alicante & Valencia!). From Spain, I remotely run my Dulwich business, which provides local group face-to-face pilates classes, run by a team of Body Control teachers.I am passionate about technique, so whether you're a beginner or advanced client, I like to observe, correct, & ensure you're getting the most out of any movement. I am articulate & like to provide context behind the movements.I have a keen interest in working with people who suffer from back pain and have spent much time recently looking after those people who are experiencing a decline in their bodies due to their long careers as desk-based professionals.I have experience running a Pilates retreat, though the last one was held in the UK.Classes will always be varied, fun, challenging, but totally in tune with your individual bodies.
