From the call of the whip bird and the busy chatter of the kookaburras to the gentle gurgling of crystal springs this dramatic rainforest retreat echoes with the sounds of nature's symphony.Set on 164 rambling acres of outstanding beauty with beautifully tended gardens including sacred areas: Labyrinth, North American Medicine Wheel and Mary Magdalene's Grotto. We have numerous walking trails with spectacular views of the Boarder Ranges National Park. It's easy to enjoy and explore "Solitude" plus our river has many rock pools for that cool, secluded swim.Solitude offers a variety of accommodation which includes 4 private fully self-contained cabins with wood heaters and private balcony. Share accommodation is used as specialized living quarters and designed to cater to groups, the headquarters sleep 22 people and consist of two en-suites, a bathroom and five restrooms, which are fully catered for with healthy nourishing meals.
