Sianga Kuyan

Hailing from a small remote village in the Serengeti catchment in Northern Tanzania, Encircle East Africa’s CEO Sianga had an idyllic Maasai upbringing where spotting the “big five” to the tiniest birdlife across the plains was part of daily life.Gaining early work as a local guide with safari companies visiting his village, Sianga realised his passion for sharing his home with travellers.Leaving his village to study English and tourism in Arusha, Sianga became a qualified tour guide.He soon became immersed in providing customised safari and cultural tourism experiences to travellers and volunteers, and making possible published, world-class research projects with students from Stanford and Harvard Universities.
