Serra Vida - A playground of presence

We are Located in a beautiful valley with the Sever River flowing through 8 hectares of untouched, raw nature in Portugal’s lush Serra de SoÃo Mamede National Park. It is located a 2.5h drive inland from Lisbon, close to the Spanish border and the medieval castle town of Marvåo. We are more than a retreat centre. We are an immersive experience and community hub that invites you into presence through movement & meditation, creative expression, art, and nature. We dream of a magical place where all who visit can develop a stronger heart connection to the self, to nature, and to others, as an alternative to ways of living life led by the mind. By sharing this place and intention with you, we hope to plant seeds to create more love and compassion in the world. What makes the Lost Valley a Playground of Presence are the practices we offer, which help you to come out of your mind and into the moment. The facilities on the land to be shared and enjoyed: The River Sever, Salt water pool, view and yoga deck, natural amphitheater, ceremonial yurt, ice baths, natural walking trails, wood-fired stone oven, and outside dining area.
