Sarah Williams

Sarah is the co-founder and director of Zen Boutique Resort and Retreat Centre in Zanzibar, a unique wellness destination dedicated to holistic wellbeing, rest, and renewal.Prior to establishing her business, Sarah worked for 17 years in the UK National Health Service as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and manager, where she specialised in improving access to mental health support and developing therapeutic services.Her professional background has shaped Zen into a space that reflects her lifelong passion for people, wellness, and the transformative power of healing environments.Drawing on her clinical expertise and leadership experience, Sarah has created a space that not only supports individual recovery and growth, but also contributes to sustainable tourism and community engagement in Zanzibar.Sarah now lives full time in Zanzibar and has realised her life long dream of being able to swim in tropical waters before breakfast.
