Teaching Week: 13.07.2024 - 20.07.2024With a strong background in strength and conditioning, personal training as well as competing in competitive running, I was always taking part in physical challenges.For a long time I felt that yoga was boring or too slow for me but after attending a yoga retreat 4 years ago that mindset began to change. Slowly I started to build the habit of practicing for just 10 minutes per day no matter how I felt and over time this grew into a deep love for the strength and grace both physically and mentally that time on my mat was adding to my life.Last year I completed yoga teacher training in Costa Rica and began teaching regular yoga classes as well as learning about the benefits of mindfulness to physical and mental health.I now use yoga and mindfulness in my day job of teaching physical education to Secondary students and myself practice a dynamic flow style of yoga daily. My classes are a balance of movement and pause, allowing you to feel challenged physically but also providing time to relax, stretch and connect with your breath and body.Prepare for a week filled with chances to push your body to try new things, disconnect from daily stress and pressure and focus on your mental and physical wellbeing!
