Quinta do Ribeiro Branco

Quinta do Ribeiro Branco is a four bedroom farmhouse, built in 1910, nestled into the mountain below the village of Lapa dos Dinheiros, with uninterrupted views of valleys and distant mountains. We are the fourth owners of this beautiful estate. Te quinta has six barns which we are renovating, eight hectares of woodland and ancient granite terraces. We are using permaculture principles, to add even more abundance and diversity to this magical land. We live in a national park called Serra da Estrela (mountains of the stars). Tis region has the highest mountains in Portugal, famous for all products that come from sheep and goats: cheese and woollen socks, slippers and felted clothing. Te mountains have many beautiful walking paths and rivers, Ribeiro Branco (White Stream) passes near to the house giving our quinta its name.
