Patricia Bandeira Duarte

Patricia Bandeira Duarte was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, and started doing yoga in 1999 in Cologne, Germany. After graduating from the University in Bonn with a degree in Language Studies, she went to Costa Rica in 2001 for a visit and stayed for 10 years. She practiced Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga in Costa Rica. With the yoga and reiki practice, she decided to change her life and become a yoga teacher and therapist. Patricia is now a certified 1000 hours Senior Experienced Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance International and has more than 5000 hours of teaching experience. She also teaches Tantra yoga, restorative, and Trauma sensitive yoga. Patricia is also certified in Sound Healing with Gongs and Tibetan singing bowls, by the Peter Hess Academy in Germany. Patricia created Shakti Yoga Dance, a mix between Yoga and dance, influenced by her dancing experience and Yoga practices.
