OFF ART

The OFF ART is a dance/art company based in Greece,initiated in 2003. It is the vehicle of choreographer and performer ROULA KARAFERI.​The company has created a line of projects, including dance theater and art productions, festivals, workshops, public discussions, and location-specific performances, as well as a long list of collaborations with artists and stakeholders.It promotes a broad attitude towards the body as an instrument of expression.With the belief that borders are only human-made, the company crosses the line between Dance, Visual art, Dance-Theater, and classical Theater, aiming for emotional involvement for both the artist and the audience and for the opening of the senses.​ It is intended as a dialectical space between the resident artists, fellow artists of different disciplines, and the audience.The main aim is to collaborate, meet each other and becοme potential initiators of change.
