Octavi Royo

Octavi Royo from Barcelona is a Teacher, Explorer, and Eternal Student of YogaHis yoga path began over a decade ago in Mysore, India, the birthplace of Aṣṭāṅga Yoga. Since 2011, Octavi has been devoted to Aṣṭāṅga Yoga. He completed his teacher training under Vijay Kumar in Mysore, who he continues to assist during his annual trips to India. His dedication extends beyond the yoga mat; Octavi has shared the gift of yoga in diverse and challenging environments, including prisons, where he witnessed firsthand its potential to transform lives. This journey inspired his documentary Libertad entre Rejas (Freedom Behind Bars), shedding light on the healing power of yoga in unlikely places.
