Nemoz Diving Center and Tahiti Shark Expeditions

Nemo’z Diving Center is one of the most established dive operations in French Polynesia, originally founded in 1989 at the Intercontinental Resort & SPA in Tiahura, on the north-west coast of Moorea. Over more than three decades it has grown into a full-service centre operating two locations on the island — at the former Intercontinental site and at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & SPA — with a fleet of four boats capable of hosting up to 18 divers at a time.Tahiti Shark Expeditions operates as the private expedition arm of the same team, led by Nicolas Buray. Where Nemo’z handles group scuba and snorkelling, Tahiti Shark Expeditions offers fully private boat expeditions oriented around encounters with Moorea’s extraordinary megafauna: sharks, dolphins, rays, turtles, and — from July to November — humpback whales. Together, the two operations offer one of the most complete ocean wildlife programmes in the South Pacific.In late 2024, Nemo’z expanded further with the launch of a dedicated freediving centre in partnership with Bluenery Academy, founded by world champion freediver Guillaume Néry — the first freediving centre of its kind on the island.
