I am AVYA GUPTAYOGA INSTRUCTOR, ADVOCATE, REIKI HEALER LEVEL 4From a quite young age, I witnessed yoga as a part of daily life, as both my mother and father have been and are yoga practitioners.My father, who has attained great spiritual growth, was my first guru, who showed me the path of yoga.Yoga is a way of life for me. It has taught me to be gentle yet firm, detached yet empathic. After discovering the spiritual side within, meditation became a natural practice in my life.Delving further into the study and practice of yoga, it became clear that yoga is so much more than the asanas. The asanas and pranayam have brought balance, calmness, and positivity.They have taught me to be grateful and brought me closer to the beauty of nature.After experiencing all of the above, it was even clearer that I had to learn and apply this in a deeper manner, so I took my teacher’s training courses and decided to become a yoga teacher at the age of 19.I also passed the bar examination and became a practicing advocate in the Rajasthan High Court. Since then, both yoga and law have been embedded in my life.
