I’m Mathieu, a climbing instructor and retreat organizer based in Granada, in southern Spain.Through Akroche Climbing, I organize small group climbing retreats that bring people together to experience the incredible rock around Granada while spending time in nature and building confidence on the wall.Over the years, guiding and organizing retreats has become a big part of my work.I love creating weeks where people can step away from their routine, learn new climbing skills, and share meaningful moments outdoors with a small and supportive group.My approach to climbing is focused on safety, progression, and helping everyone feel comfortable on the rock, whether it’s your first time climbing or you already have experience.I keep my retreats intentionally small so that everyone gets personal attention and the atmosphere stays relaxed and friendly.
