La Tigra Mountain House

La Tigra Mountain House is a peaceful retreat space in Costa Rica, surrounded by nature.Set in the mountains with beautiful views of the Porvenir and Platanar volcanoes and the Central North Valley, and located about 45 minutes from the base of the Arenal Volcano, the house is next to the Children’s Forest Reserve - a protected area rich in biodiversity, waterfalls, and scenic trails.The spacious home is designed for comfort and connection, making it especially well-suited for group retreats and shared experiences. Large panoramic windows fill the space with natural light and open up stunning views of the surrounding forest and mountains.There are five rooms in total: four rooms feature two full-size (matrimonial) beds each, and one room includes two bunk beds with full-size beds on the bottom and single beds on top — a great option for shared stays. Each room covers 36 square meters and is equipped with a private bathroom and a hot-water shower.There's also a large living room spanning 150 square meters, where you can greet the sunrise with a cup of coffee or simply enjoy the beautiful view and the birdsong.Additionally, there's a fully equipped kitchen with electric and gas stoves. Inside, you’ll find unique murals inspired by Costa Rica’s wildlife, adding a special touch to the space.Here, you can explore lush trails, enjoy fresh mountain air, and experience the quiet rhythm of nature.
