Julie Myers
Julie completed her first yoga training in 2012. After practicing for a year, she knew she wanted to share yoga. She has always found movement to be a nurturing, powerful force in her life. Julie fell in love with the grounded yet expansive experience that she found with asana and meditation. Yoga practice has inspired her to grow and expand in ways she never imagined. It is this experience she hopes to share with her students. While working as a Physical Therapy Assistant, she began to weave yoga into her work and witnessed that healing calls for an integrated, multi-dimensional approach; one that allows us to see each other as whole, no matter what challenge we are taking on. She is grateful to be a full-time yoga teacher, yoga teacher trainer, and Ayurvedic Practitioner. Julie trained with Siva Power Yoga in Wichita, KS, where she earned her 200-hour certification, and has continued her education through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, earning a 300-hour certification and learning to apply the therapeutic benefits of yoga for chronic pain, anxiety, depression, addiction, cancer, and grief. She has also completed Warriors at Ease Level 1 training, diving deeper into the human stress response, the nervous system, and the neuroscience of trauma. In 2020, after years of practicing Ayurveda, she began studying at the California College of Ayurveda. She is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and graduated as a Medical Ayurvedic Specialist in 2024.
