What is Jeela?For most people music is something you just can’t live without. In every culture all across the world people love to dance, sing, scream and cry to how it moves us. It’s impossible to imagine a world without it. It is always surrounding us, from movie scores to the simple sound of waves crashing on the sea. But it is so much more than just a nice thing to listen to. It is a way for us to connect with our deeper self, it is a way for us to heal and it is a way for us to connect as a tribe. This is why we created Jeela. To help people in their journey of self discovery and healing, through sound.Created in 2021 by two friends (Josh and Renee) they acknowledged this shared passion and decided to make experiences to assist others in their paths to go deeper into healing through sound.Surrounded by fellow artists and facilitators they decided to bring all these people together in order to teach them how to use sound as a modality to open the heart, express, form a community and break free from their limiting beliefs.At Jeela we don’t believe you need to be a ‘musician’ to enjoy the benefits of music.It is about allowing yourself to let go, play and become inspired to share what is truly in your heart. This is medicine.
