Fabiano Gentile

Dear Friends, My name is Fabiano, and my heart is deeply rooted in the practice of mindfulness, inspired by Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh. My time spent in a monastery, dedicated to studying and cultivating the Dharma, has shaped me and prepared me to serve others. In 2025, I decided to leave the monastery to devote my energies to sharing the practice and teachings outside the monastery and help people carve out spaces of calm and peace during their busy lives to heal and restore freshness. Since leaving the monastery, life has presented me with countless opportunities to share the practices I learned and offer people concrete tools to help them on their path to understanding and healing, or simply to nurture peace in their lives. At the beginning of 2025, I returned to Italy (my country of origin) to help set up a meditation practice center. In September 2025, I received an invitation to help someone from Nairobi establish a practice center in the heart of Kenya. So, in October 2025, we founded Pumua Village together, a space to offer to both the local and international community, where they can stop and reconnect with the beauty of the present moment.
