I’m Erika , originally from Italy, but Fuerteventura has been my home for the last 10 years.I’ve worked as a professional photographer for over 15 years, and my experience has been built where it really counts: on location, in natural light, with real people and real conditions.Wind, fast-changing skies, harsh midday sun, tight schedules, sand, salt, and unpredictable situations aren’t “exceptions” for me — they’re the normal working environment.Before settling on the island, I spent several years working in very different places like Malaysia, the Maldives, and Sardinia.That range gave me a solid ability to adapt quickly: different cultures, different expectations, different landscapes, different lighting, and a client base that ranges from luxury travelers to families on holiday, from confident couples to people who feel uncomfortable the moment a camera appears.From a technical point of view, this is what I bring to every shoot:Fast light reading: direction, contrast, reflections, backlight, and how it shifts minute by minute.Consistency under pressure: I can deliver even when conditions are tough and time is limited.Clean workflow on location: quick decisions, efficient pacing, and a clear plan to get variety without chaos.Strong subject direction: simple, direct guidance that helps people look natural — especially beginners.I work year-round with tourists and people with zero experience in front of the camera.That’s where my style comes from: practical, straightforward communication, no complicated jargon — just clear instructions, immediate application, and real attention to the person in front of me.I also know the island inside out: how the light behaves in different areas and seasons, where the wind hits hardest, what locations work at what time, and how to manage logistics smoothly so the shoot stays relaxed and productive
