Dr. Luz Maria Calderón

Luz is a qualified General Doctor in Spain and has been involved in many projects in the developing countries of Africa and South America. She specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture and graduated from the Third Hospital in China in 1999. Over the last 20 years she has been working with the Centre of Acupuncture and Sport Medicine Qi developing her own methods and techniques for acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her knowledge is extensive, and she also specialises in sport traumas and rejuvenating treatments through acupuncture and Chinese medicine. On our retreats Luz applies acupunture and her unique techniques to harmonise and encourage the healthy flow of energy through our meridional system. Her methods perfectly compliment the necessary work needed to balance the 5 elements of Water, Fire, Metal, Wood and Earth.
