Dr. Alessandra Birolo
With over 20 years of disciplined study in classical and modern dance, Alessandra brings a unique sense of grace, flow, and structural alignment to the mat. Her yoga journey began in 2009 during a transformative university exchange in India, a country that continues to be her spiritual compass.A Bridge Between Tradition and FlowAlessandra’s teaching is deeply rooted in the millennial traditions of India, yet adapted for the modern seeker. Her path has been shaped by two master teachers:The Philosophy: Under the guidance of James J. Eruppakkattu (Torino/Kerala), she spent years diving into the theoretical and experiential depths of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. The Practice: She completed her advanced training at Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa under Yoga Master Lalit Kumar. Here, she mastered the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa method, which remains the heartbeat of her personal practice and teaching today. The Ale and Ale StyleHonoring the lineage of Ashtanga while embracing the fluidity of the sea, Alessandra’s classes are a balance of strength and surrender.Morning Energy: A dynamic, flowing Vinyasa practice with a keen focus on correct alignment and intentional movement.Evening Stillness: A shift toward Pranayama (breathwork), Dharana (concentration), and deep relaxation—perfectly synchronized with the sunset and the movement of the yacht.International ExperienceA true global citizen, Alessandra teaches as a freelance instructor in the vibrant yoga communities of Torino and Berlin, and has led international workshops and retreats from the shores of Sri Lanka to the Baltic coast.Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Alessandra creates an inclusive, safe, and soulful environment where the "yoga" happens both on the mat and in the way we breathe with the wind.
