Douglas Hudson - Rhythm Resonance - Sound Bathing Practioner & Drummergy (Drum Work Shop Facilitator) CMA QualifiedDouglas is based on the Isle Of Skye and has spent over 20 years working as a workshop facilitator, performer, composer, and director in the arts. After travelling to West Africa and Cuba, where he experienced the function of Drumming and Rhythm systems and their effects on the individual and the community’s health and identity it became a life long pursuit. Alongside performing and recording he became more and more dedicated to the facilitation of Drumming workshop sessions for a variety of clients - including education, corporate team building, bespoke events and ceremonies to name but a few. He now loves to provide what he calls the “Equation of Celebration” which fully acknowledges the integrated nature of the ancient arts of Drums/ Rhythm - Voice/Song - Movement/Dance. In these sessions the theatre of wellbeing and health and happiness have a powerful transformative effect that stands on its own, but also can bring a new pursuit into your daily routine.He very much looks forward to sharing this journey with you all in this fantastic setting at this time of year where we will dig into the present moment, forget the past and build the future together.
